Habitition ("we," "our," "us") values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the Habitition mobile application.

By using Habitition, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Habitition Android application and related services provided by MEiApps. It applies worldwide and is intended to comply with major privacy laws, including:

• General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU/EEA)
• California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) (California, USA)
• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) (USA)
• Other applicable international privacy laws

3. Minimum Age

Habitition is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we learn we have inadvertently collected personal data from a user under 16, we will delete it promptly.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Personal Information

• Google Account Data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your display name, email address, and profile picture.
• Contest Profiles: Your display name and avatar may be visible to other users participating in contests.

4.2 Non-Personal & Usage Data

• App Usage Analytics: Collected via Google Analytics to understand app performance and user behavior (anonymized).
• Advertising Data: Collected by Google AdMob to display ads, possibly including device identifiers.
• Device Information: Such as device type, OS version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility.

4.3 Data Not Collected

Habit Data: Your habits and logs are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

5. How We Use Information

We use collected data for:

• Providing core features (habit tracking, contests).
• Managing premium subscriptions via RevenueCat.
• Improving app performance, user experience, and troubleshooting issues.
• Serving ads and understanding their effectiveness.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Habits and logs remain on your device.

Firebase: We store contest and profile data (display name, avatar) in Firestore and Realtime Database.

Premium Data: Checked dynamically via RevenueCat; not stored in Firebase.

Security: All communications with Firebase and third-party services use HTTPS encryption. Firebase security rules are implemented to restrict unauthorized access.

7. Third-Party Services

Habitition integrates the following services, which may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google Sign-In & Firebase Authentication (authentication)
• Firebase Firestore & Realtime Database (contest and profile data)
• Google Analytics (app usage analytics)
• Google AdMob (advertising)
• RevenueCat (subscription management and premium verification)

8. Data Sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is only shared with service providers necessary to operate Habitition (Google, Firebase, RevenueCat).

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service.

10. Account Management

Currently, Habitition does not provide an in-app option to delete accounts. To request deletion of your data, email us at meeiapplications@gmail.com.

11. Advertising

Habitition uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your settings. You can manage ad personalization in your device's Google account settings.

12. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately, and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted in-app and on our website with a new "Effective Date." Continued use of the app indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
